The Hollywood Christmas Parade is a legendary event filled with history since 1928. Millions of people have come to Hollywood Boulevard to celebrate an annual parade that takes place on the Sunday after Thanksgiving in the Hollywood community in Los Angeles. The sidewalks pack out with bustling crowds eager to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus and officially usher in the Christmas season. The parade follows a 3.5-mile route along Sunset Boulevard and it is one of the only places fans are guaranteed to see their favorite stars. Participants of the parade, including celebrities, floats and giant character balloons, march down the biggest red carpet in the world.
The 2015 Hollywood Christmas Parade was free and it was the first time when I came to watch it.The night was filled with marching bands, floats, horses, cool cars filled with celebrities and different cartoon characters. It was a lot of fun to sit around and watch it with hot chocolate which could be found on street corners. This holiday maintains Christmas spirit and every year makes adults feel like kids again and again.
