The Korean Club had its first official meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 13 during lunch which included a ramen party.
As one of the newest additions to Hollywood High School’s roster of clubs, the Korean Club strives to provide a platform for Korean students to share their cultural experiences and enhance their sense of representation within the school community.
“I started the Korean Club because I wanted to spread Korean culture throughout Hollywood High,” said Aikin Yam.
The ramen club had almost 23 students attending, and many signed up to become official members and continue joining the meetings.
“My goal for being vice president in this club is to help those who want to learn about Korean culture and make it a welcome community,” said Clarisse Bulnes, Korean club vice president.
The atmosphere during the meeting was characterized by laughter, delicious food, and, notably, the vibrant sounds of K-Pop music.
