Help Stray Cat Alliance save cats

The Stray Cat Alliance is offering the perfect volunteer opportunity for students who love cats and are interested in volunteer experience.

Located at 3612 11th Ave, Los Angeles, CA, this no-kill shelter has a network of amazing cats looking for a forever home. Along with that, a great support staff and other volunteers.

When volunteering at the shelter, students are allowed to socialize with the cats. Volunteers also help feed and clean the many cats and kittens that live in the shelter.

Every cat has a different personality. Some are very friendly while others can be feral. Any interaction with the cats directly impacts their lives.

The Stray Cat Alliance is accepting volunteers through the Volunteer Application on their website (Ages 12-17). There are three shift options that volunteers can choose from. One from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.. Another from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m, and the other from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. After every shift, volunteers can add the number of hours they worked through the VicNet App’s Stray Cat Alliance Volunteer Information Center.

If students have a busy schedule and can’t volunteer in person, the Stray Cat Alliance accepts donations as well.
