Seniors were invited to join a Zoom meeting with the principal and the senior committee to discuss the new updates on May 6.
Senior Sweatshirt and Senior T-Shirt
The Disney design sweatshirt was the winner. The survey results showed 54% of seniors chose this design.
Seniors can order the senior sweatshirt and t-shirt on the student online store. The Disney sweatshirt and t-shirt will have every senior’s name on the back side of it.
The senior sweatshirt and t-shirt now comes in two colors, grey and red.

YearBook
Yearbooks are available and cost $75. Students can no longer submit baby photos or any other photos.
Prom
The Los Angeles Unified School District is not allowing any large gatherings at this moment.
If there is any change with the gathering decision, the current option for prom is the park and football field. Assistant principal, Samuel Dovlatian, said he will keep on asking the school district about prom and release updates when available.
Senior Recognition
There will be a school wide assembly today at 12:10, where the senior success will be showcased. Whether a student is going to college, getting a job, going into the army, no matter what they are doing the school wants to celebrate their accomplishment.
All school grade levels will see the senior accomplishment. Seniors are encouraged to wear their college merch, make it fun, and put a virtual background showing their college.
Achieve The Honorable Scholarship
The Achieve the Honorable Scholarship Night will take place virtually June 7. College counselor, Alyssa Pinedo, said more details are to come.
Grad Night
The school has no affiliation with Grad Nite. Hollywood High school does not have anything to do with Grad Nite.
For Grad Nite to happen there must be a volunteer parent group sponsor to collect ticket fees and secure transportation.
