It is official the class of 2021 will be graduating at the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, June 10. After months of uncertainty Principal Mary Reid and Assistant Principal Samuel Dovlatian confirmed the event .

“Graduation is going to happen at the Hollywood Bowl.” said Principal Mary Reid.

Students will only be allowed to bring 8 guests who are residents of the state of California. While guests will only be screened before entering the Hollywood Bowl students will need to provide a negative Covid-19 exam to participate. At the Hollywood Bowl all guests and students are to wear face masks and social distance. These guidelines are subject to change as LA county is soon to move on to the yellow tier leading to a wider reopening and less restrictions.

Students will also be required to pay a fee of approximately $95-$100 to help pay for the cost of the graduation at the Hollywood Bowl. Usually these fees are included in the senior package but since this year seniors were not offered any packages due to the uncertainty of graduation and other senior events, they will have to pay a direct fee.

In the meantime, seniors are strongly encouraged to finish the year strong and to try their best to obtain good grades.

“We want to encourage all the seniors to finish strong by completing all of their work and missing work.” said Assistant Principal Samuel Dovlatian.

“Study and do well on your final exams. Everything will be great.” said Principal Reid

More information on graduation, prom, and other senior events is to come. Administration has said they will be sending out a registration link for a senior meeting that is to take place this week.
