With college acceptances (and rejections) now sent out, many seniors may have already had some options to figure out where they want to go for the Fall of 2020. With social distancing rules being enforced for people to become aware of how risky the containment of COVID-19 is, the University of California system had planned virtual accepted day events for admitted students of any UC campus.

Unfortunately, the live webinar was cancelled due to the constant crashing of the links being used, overcrowding on servers, and other technical difficulties.

For many accepted students, this would have been the chance for them to get to know the campus they would attend as new undergradute students later in the year. Plus, they would gain insight on what to expect for their first year in college, campus culture, and lifestyle.

For now, the webinars have been postponed, giving the UC system time to figure out a new date to hold these events.
