Los Angeles set to host 67th NBA All-Star Game

This year, the 67th annual NBA all star game will take place in Los Angeles from Feb. 16 to 18. This will be the first time the event has taken place in Los Angeles since 2011, when Lakers favorite Kobe Bryant won the game MVP award.

Although there will be no Lakers or Clippers represented in the all-star game this year, fans can still see Lakers’ Brandon Ingram and rookie phenom Kyle Kuzma participate in the rising stars game. In addition Clippers’ Lou Williams will participate in the skills challenge and Tobias Harris will compete in the three point contest.

While tickets will be hard to get, fans can still attend the festivities outside of Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles throughout the weekend. The full slate of events is listed below.

Friday, Feb. 16:

7 p.m. All-Stars Celebrity Game

9 p.m. Rising Stars Game

 

Saturday Feb. 17:

1 p.m. Hall of Fame Announcement

8 p.m. Skills Challenge, Three Point Contest, Slam Dunk Contest

 

Sunday, Feb. 18

4:30 p.m. G League International Challenge

8 p.m. 67th NBA All-Star Game
