Tomorrow is Parent Teacher Night from 5 to 7 pm where parents talk to their children’s teachers about their 10 week grades.

There will be tables by the hash house where parents get report cards and from there go to your classes.  Teachers will talk to parents about grades and behavior.

It was supposed to be March 23, but the strike caused it to be pushed it to this week. Normally students would get out early the following day, but since the strike moved a lot of things around, Friday will be a regular schedule day.

The event is also called PHBAO Night, which stands for Predominantly Hispanic, Black, Asian, and Other Non-Anglo. Schools with more than 70% of the population fitting this category are required to have two parent nights per year, according to the Los Angeles Unified School District website.

In addition, the School for Advanced Studies and the Gifted and Talented Education programs will have a meeting from 7 to 7:30 p.m. in room 426 and on Zoom. Parents can ask questions about their gifted students.
