Girls volleyball senior night was held on Oct.12. Leadership made posters and the underclassmen gave gifts and created fun posters for each senior.

After the game, each senior was called up and ran through a tunnel of screaming fans, and cheerleaders.

“I am very proud of each and every one of the seniors,”said coach Klein. They persevered through a difficult start and improved so much over the course of the season, it was an honor to coach such a strong and resilient group of young women,” said coach Klein.

Coach Yesenia Guzman and coach Klein had red roses and balloons that senors held. Friends and families filled the gym with lots of positive energy. “It was a very special night and the seniors are going to be missed,” said Klein.

“It was a very close game. Mistakes happen, we couldn’t receive that well,”said Angela Mikaelian , an SAS junior.

Lady Sheiks lost their game to RFKC because the ball kept going close to the net and their receiving wasn’t good enough.

Girls ended the season with a win-loss record of 3-2.
