Obi-Wan Kenobi Series out now

Star Wars fans are in for some exciting new content with the upcoming release of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series exclusively on Disney Plus. There are many famous characters making their return to the Star Wars franchise such as Ewan McGregor who plays Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Hayden Christensen who played the role of Darth Vader. 

The show will aire 6 episodes and is set to premiere this friday May 27. It has been almost 20 years since the Star Wars fans have seen these actors have played their iconic roles. The last time we saw them was in 2005 with the release of Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith. 

The new Obi Wan Kenobi series is set between Star Wars: Episode III and IV. The story will begins 10 years after events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat; the corruption of his best friend Anakin Skywalker who turned to the dark side to become Darth Vader. 

Many fans around the world can’t wait to see these two characters go at it one final time. Many students at Hollywood High have high hopes for the show.

“I’m very excited for the Obi-Wan series because I get to see more of his story and the return of Darth Vader”, said SAS senior Yahir Martinez.

Other students are just happy that the show is finally coming out.

“It has been so long since the show was announced but I am happy the wait is finally over”, said SAS senior Bryan Uribe. “ The lightsaber duels better not disappoint.”

The first episode started at 12:01 a.m. PT this friday and new episodes will drop every friday at midnight PT. To watch the show you will need to have a subscription with Disney Plus thats costs $7.99/month or $79.99/year.
