The Sheik football team suffered a loss against Contreras at a home game on Friday, Oct. 15, continuing their seven-game losing streak with a 40-0 defeat by the Cobras on their home turf.
The Cobras made six points in the first 16 minutes and with only being 38 minutes in of the game they had a score of 19-0. In the first quarter the Cobras scored two touchdowns and a kick in the first quarter with 13 points and they scored a total points of 27 for the second quarter. The game finished at 9:05 p.m.
Varsity football was set to face West Adams on Friday. The game was forfeited, although it may be rescheduled. Sheiks next face Roybal on Friday for their homecoming game.
