Most teens love to watch animated shows because of how eye-catching the animations are and how well crafted the story is with character development, plot twists, and action. Many people grew up watching classics like “Naruto” and “One Piece”, and recently “Attack on Titan” has recently become popular among viewers.

“One Piece”, created by Eiichiro Oda, is great for someone that loves adventures along with some sad reflective life lessons in which you can learn and relate to the characters in this story. The story follows a young kid named Monkey D. Luffy, who has a big dream of becoming a pirate king sohe plans to gather a crew and a ship so he can set sail. Luffy goes through many hardships and situations in which he has to fight in order to save someone’s life. Most of the time, those who he saved would decide to become his crewmates and join him on his adventure. After eating ‘devil fruit’, a mysterious fruit found in the ocean, Luffy obtains the ability to stretch as if he were a piece of gum. However ingesting the fruit can put his ability to swim on the line, something he can’t live without. Although 965 episodes long there is no going back once you start, most love that there’s more to the story.

“Naruto”, created by Masashi Kishimoto, is a show for people that are really into action, life lessons, and ninja jutsu’s. “Naruto” is about a kid that lives by himself and is despised by a lot of people in the village of Konoha. He was hated because there was once a fox spirit that attacked the village when Naruto was born, causing many to die including Naruto’s parents. In order to stop the fox from destroying the village, Naruto’s father sealed the spirit inside Naruto. As the result of the fox being sealed in Naruto, many people hate and fear him because he has a malicious fox demon inside of him. Naruto no longer wants to be seen as a monster by the village but instead a normal kid who aspires to be the strongest ninja of his village. Naruto as a person isn’t the sharpest in school but he’s very good in combat and changing people’s hearts. Overall, “Naruto” is a good story with many plot twists as well as emotional life lessons. “Naruto” has 720 episodes, as well as additional movies.

“Attack on Titan” by Hajime Isayama, has become popular among anime viewers due to it’s newest season premiering recently. The show is aimed towards mature teenagers, due to it’s gory content. “Attack on Titan” follows a young man named Eren Yeager, whose ordinary life is ruined when a giant titan breaks through the village walls, allowing more man-eating titans to rampage inside. After watching his mother die, Eren’s hatred for the titans led him to join the Scout Regiment, a group of titan hunters that go outside the walls where the terrifying titans reside. The rest of Eren and his fellow scouts’ story is filled with mystery, action, and surprising plot twists, making “Attack on Titan” one of the most viewed shows at the moment.

You can stream these shows on Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, or Funimation.
