While 2021 continues, there is set to be a considerable amount of new video game releases that you may want to purchase, by the popular franchises we all know and love. These releases are destined to get you thrilled and ready for the next generation of games.

There are lots of anticipated games set to be released this year. This includes “Elden Ring” by FromSoftware, Nintendo’s sequel to “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, and “Overwatch 2” by Blizzard. For example, “Overwatch 2” will contain fresh content that involves missions and more stories about the characters in the game. It will also have its fan favorite multiplayer option, as well as new characters that were not present in the first game. Other highly awaited games have confirmed release dates and will be soon to come in 2021.

In the months following February, there will be new DLC and new games that fans are eager to get. This includes “Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6”, “Far Cry 6” , and “Resident Evil Village”. One of the games is “Resident Evil Village” which is an upcoming horror game about survival in an explorable village. The game also features a merchant named The Duke, who sells weapons and healing objects to the player. It also integrates a multiplayer online mode. In the “Resident Evil” series, this will be the tenth main installment and the sequel to “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard”.

Between the middle and the end of the year, “Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart”, “LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga”, “Battlefield 6”,“God of War: Ragnarok”, “Hogwarts Legacy” and “Halo Infinite” are all set to be available. The anticipation for “Halo Infinite” is Xbox’s incoming first-person shooter title. “Infinite” will concentrate on the Master Chief as the third chapter in the Reclaimer Saga, and continue his tale following the events of Halo 5: Guardians. For the franchise, it has been described as a “spiritual reboot”.

Until then, there are plenty of games to look forward to in February. The list consists of popular titles such as “Super Mario 3D + Bowser’s Fury”, “Little Nightmares II”, “Werewolf: The Apocalypse–Earthblood”, “Destruction All-Stars”, and “Persona 5: Strikers”. “Super Mario 3D + Bowser’s Fury” is a game that came out on the Wii U and now on the Nintendo Switch. Bowser’s Fury is a standalone adventure featuring Mario and Bowser Jr. as the new content. In this adventure Mario figures out that Bowser’s up to no good again and is even more powerful as before. By retrieving Cat Shines from the paint-covered lighthouses, the game revolves around saving every island from Fury Bowser.
