With Covid-19 restrictions still being in place many people wonder how they are going to celebrate Valentine’s Day with their significant others. Even though the California stay-at-home order has been lifted by officials, social distancing and wearing a mask is still required. With these orders in act, it can be difficult for friends or couples to hang out.

The new safe Valentine’s Day consists of staying home and doing your part to stop the spread of Covid-19. Staying home may sound boring but here are a couple of activities you can do to celebrate Valentine’s Day while practicing social distancing.

Buy them a gift and have it delivered to their home.

On a regular Valentine’s Day, it is traditional to give someone a couple of sweets or a teddy bear. Since social distancing still exists the best way to gift someone right now is by having the gift be delivered to their home.

Here are a couple of things you can gift:

Chocolate or any sweets

Books

Teddy bear

Food (you can send as a gift on door dash)

Bake some cookies with them on FaceTime or in person if you live with them

It is recommended that everyone social distances from people that do not live in their household. This means that if you don’t live with a partner it is best to keep your distance. The best way to communicate while social distancing is through FaceTime.
