Track and Field leave the opposition in the dust

With the first ever Central League Classic on Mar. 6th. The track team come up on top of the competition, up against Roybal Learning Center, Miguel Contreras,Mendez LC,Downtown Magnet,Belmont, Robert F. Kennedy and Helen Bernstein. Our Boys varsity lead with 114 points with the boys junior varsity being 118 points. Our Girls varsity lead with 142 points and the only loss was with the junior varsity girls with 23 points. With this, the track team is able to prepare for the competition in the varying events for the upcoming meets. Senior athlete Kana Wone said,”We haven’t lost in two years, this year is getting exciting with the new competition Mendez LC.”

The next meet coming up is on Friday against Robert F. Kennedy and Mendez LC at our own track.
