Attention Sheiks! Are you into Shakespeare? Do you think you’ll be able to personify a monologue written by Shakespeare? Well, enter the National Shakespeare Competition 2020.
This competition is open to all students and is free. The competition will be hosted on Feb. 4th in room 503 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
There are different awards for the winning students. Winner of the school competition goes to compete at the Los Angeles District Level Winner of the District goes on to compete at Nationals in New York City and win:
1st place: A scholarship to the Midsummer Conservatory at the British American Drama Academy
2nd place: A scholarship to the American Shakespeare Center’s Theatre Camp in Staunton, VA.
