After a decade of consistent movie producing, box office profits and global success, Marvel has decided to take a year long break away from films. To send them away, they have been in the works of a project since 2017 with a budget of around $400 million entitled “Avengers: Endgame”. Endgame has been described as a conclusion to the intricate story line of the all powerful “infinity stones” introduced to Marvel fans in “Guardians of the Galaxy” (2014).

As a result of the announcement of Endgame being the last Marvel movie before a year long hiatus, fans and movie goers around the nation have been on the edge of their seats which leads to an outstanding amount of anticipation and suspense of the release of the three hour long movie which will be on Friday, April 26.

TCA movie goer Riley Williams says, “I’m very excited to see the final movie wrap up, the whole Marvel universe…”.

Recently, Marvel picked up the pace of their usual movie releasing and cranked out as many as three movies in one year. This happened in 2018 with the movies “Black Panther”, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Antman and the Wasp”. All of these movie’s plots have been accelerating, towards Endgame which will (hopefully) wrap up and conclude any loose ends and answer all questions fans may have had before.

SAS movie goer Abigail Escobedo says, “I’m really excited because of the suspense surrounding it [Endgame], I just hope it matches the hype.”

If you were interested in understanding the complex and in depth backstory behind “Avengers: Endgame” before the release date, the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood and Highland, decided to conduct a slight marathon of several Marvel movies in hopes of informing fans and audiences.
