Spread awareness world diabetes day

November 14 is World Diabetes Day. Diabetes is becoming an epidemic. Many young people are getting diabetes. This day is dedicated to spread the importance of taking actions to confront the issue as a critical global health problem.

425 million adults have diabetes. 1 out of 2 are not diagnosed. It is important to know the signs and check with your regular doctor.

Some symptoms may include:

  •  Hunger and thirst
  • Fatigue
  • Frequent urination (more than usually)
  • Dry mouth and itchy skin 
  • Blurry vision
  • Slow-healing cuts
  • Pain or numbness in the feet
  • Unplanned weight loss
  • Nausea and vomiting

One should stay alert and have regular checkup. Diabetes can affect anyone. It does not matter your age.
